Seeing isn't believing...She goes around in her own little world, replaying the days events to a full. It's the same thing everyday for her. The same dead-end job, the same conversations, the same arguments; everything was all the way around the same. Nothing could convince her otherwise that things were changing for the better, no matter how much she wanted them to. She was fighting a losing battle; one she thought would never end. How she longed for peace of mind, to be able to be happy and in love; to feel love for her job, her life. It seemed that nothing was worth it anymore.   
Tears didn't suit her, so she kept them inside, hidden beneath the shaky s Seeing isn't believing...

Things Change chp 7Things seemed okay for a while. I got to leave the hospital in the morning, my parents were fussing over me about walking, but I truthfully felt fine with the painkillers. Dametree was a bit skeptical as well.  "I'm fine Dametree, stop giving me that look," I whispered to him while sitting in the back seat of my mother's van. He just kept staring at me with concerned eyes, ignoring the dirty looks mother was giving him through her rearview mirror.  "Dametree," I growled at him, "you are making me feel weird. Stop it." With a sigh he turned and stared out the window while I looked at the sun roof. Nothing could make this any worse. & Things Change chp 7

Wow-it's been a while!

So I haven't exactly been here in about a year or two; but I'm undecided about coming back for keeps.

I have at least two other stories started-not finished-and tons of short stories as well that are not posted on this site.
Most are on a private site or on my myspace. ^.^;

I haven't exactly decided if I should post them for the world to see, since I still am not sure how well people would see them or if they'd even want them.

Anyway, I've updated the profile, and added a small short story to test the waters. Give it a view if you would, and let me know what you think.
